Vipassana means insight into the nature of reality. Vipassana is one of World’s most ancient techniques of meditation, which was rediscovered by Gautama Buddha. It is a way of self-transformation through self-observation and introspection.
This non-sectarian technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation. Its purpose is not merely to cure diseases, but to heal human sufferings. Vipassana removes the negativities of the mind. The ‘sadhak’ or a ‘Vipasi’ who practices Vipassana cares for all beings with pure mind. The communal bias vanishes and the harmonious living helps to achieve the progress faster.
Govind Milk introduced Vipassana meditation for all its employees. All the Directors, management, staff & workers, supervisors along with farmers and milk collection centre agents have opted for a 10 days Vipassana course.
It helped them to become positive, less stressed, honest, disciplined and dedicated to their task. This course has prompted farmers to provide clean milk.
Vipassana has immensely contributed in making the lives of everyone involved happier, as those who embrace this path of enlightenment give up all vices, leading to a friendly, efficient & trustworthy environment. The effect can be gauged from the fact that Chariman of the dairy, Sanjeevraje and his wife, Shivanjaliraje, decided to close their permit room in their hotel, after doing their first Vipassana course at Igatpuri. This initiative made their mentor Guruji Shri Goenkaji happy and he immediately accepted their invitation to visit Phaltan and enlightened the people of Phaltan about this wonderful technique.
