Our farmers are free and happy as we have taught them a new way of dairy farming and, therefore, a new way of living. We have introduced new techniques and processes that have made them self-reliant”. Govind endeavors to keep every partner in the value chain happy, and to achieve this, we have set up a fullproof system where everyone knows the secret recipe of seamless coordination making less or no arousal of confusion, grievances and communication gap amongst each other. Taking this further, Govind launched a new brand campaign in 2014, strategising the idea of revamping the brand positioning: The Happy Makers.
Though Govind Milk was founded in the year 1995, the milk business is not new to the Chairman’s family. The erstwhile princely state had a privately run dairy farm which had over 300 cattle including breeds like Sahiwal, Gir, Hariyanvi to name a few.

Chandrashekhar is M.Sc.(Agri) from Mahatma Phule Agriculture Institute, Rahuri, Dist. Ahmednagar. He is a lecturer at the prestigious Malojiraje Agriculture College since 1990. He is the Founder Director of Chaitanya Credit Society which provides soft loans to farmers; to buy cattle and help them with fodder development. He also facilitates in providing cattle feed at affordable rates to the cattle farmers supplying milk to Govind Milk. He played a pivotal role in developing a clean procurement system for Govind Milk.

Ganpatrao completed M.Sc. (Agri) from Mahatma Phule Agriculture Institute, Rahuri, Dist. Ahmednagar. He served as a professor in Dr. Sukhatme Institute of Agriculture, Phaltan. He loves to work extensively with the veterinary team to ensure maximum cattle care. He is also instrumental in introducing loose housing and community milking for benefits of cattle farmers. His dedication for welfare of farmers is exemplary. He is also Founder of the Phaltan Vipassana Kendra, which is currently being developed in Phaltan. The holistic meditation technique of Vipassana is religiously followed by every staff and member of Govind family along with locals for its unprecedented benefits for mind, body and soul.

A crusader of women’s causes, Shivanjali runs a credit co-operative society for women in Phaltan that has been instrumental in uplifting the general well-being of women in the area. She is actively involved in Govind operations since 2001 and has made a visible difference in plant infrastructure, quality and human resources functions. Govind’s reputation of being stickler to quality and being a brand that is honest to goodness can largely be attributed to Shivanjali’s hard work and tireless efforts over the last one decade. An astute communicator, market savvy, Shivanjali has completed her education from St. Joseph’s Convent, Mumbai and SNDT, Pune.

Dr. Jai Singh Marwaha is the trustee & Managing Director at IIEBM, Indus Business School, Pune. He has 20 years of experience in the field of Education and Management. He is alumnus of the prestigious Fergusson college where he completed his graduation after which he did his MBA with Marketing Specialization and PhD in Digital Marketing. He Supports a number of NGO’s and is a Paul Harris fellow of Rotary International. He is a keen traveller, Photographer and cook. He also passionate about vintage and classic cars and is trying to create a small automobile museum.

He holds Directorship in Shrimant Ramraje Motor Vahatuk Sanstha, Phaltan & Jitoba Pani Vapar Sanstha, Jinti Tal Phaltan. He is also Developing Farmer & step towards modern farming by using latest technology in farming sector.
